Assistant Professor of Practice - Accounting

Kaitlyn Keizer earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. Kaitlyn worked in public accounting at PwC, with a focus on providing tax consulting and compliance services to a wide range of businesses, both public and private. She has worked for a diverse client base in all phases of planning and implementation of various tax strategies. During her time at PwC, Kaitlyn gained valuable experience working on cross-border tax work during an international secondment with PwC Canada. Kaitlyn also worked as a Senior Manager of Practice Management at Quarles & Brady LLP, where she was in the role of business manager and knowledge collaborator, using strategic, service-oriented and innovative approaches to drive Firm and billable timekeeper value. Kaitlyn initially joined the Accounting faculty at Marquette in a part-time capacity in 2022 teaching international tax. She is thrilled to be returning to the classroom full-time as a faculty member in 2024.

Professional Interests

Kaitlyn is interested in utilizing her experience in public accounting and the legal industry to help students understand the multitude of opportunities that await them in the business world after their time at Marquette. She hopes to utilize her knowledge, developed skillset and professional network to inspire and motivate those with which she interacts.

Personal Interests

Kaitlyn loves to spend as much time as she can with her husband, daughter, and yellow lab. She also enjoys running, gardening, and reading. Kaitlyn was a competitive figure skater growing up, and still teaches introductory lessons on the weekends.
