Dr. Babu brings a wealth of experience from both industry and higher education. Over a span of 15 years, he has held progressive leadership and management roles within the engineering and operations divisions of Fortune 500 organizations, including Citation, Case New Holland, and Daimler-Chrysler Corporation. His professional expertise encompasses operations, human resources, finance, global team management, and learning and development.

Dr. Babu is adept at leading cross-disciplinary teams, driving strategic planning initiatives, and fostering leadership development. In higher education, he has served as an instructor at both undergraduate and graduate levels at institutions such as Gateway Technical College, Carthage College, the University of Wisconsin System, and ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. His teaching portfolio includes courses in management, human resources, leadership, and supply chain management. Furthermore, Dr. Babu has taught internationally as a Visiting Professor, broadening his academic impact on a global scale.

In administrative leadership, Dr. Babu has served as the Associate Dean of Business and IT before advancing to the role of Dean of Manufacturing, Engineering, and Transportation at Gateway Technical College. In these roles, he successfully led faculty teams and implemented student success initiatives.

Combining his corporate experience with academic theory, Dr. Babu brings a dynamic approach to teaching, incorporating practical insights with scholarly perspectives. His research focuses on leadership trends, application models, and the efficacy of leadership in promoting personal and professional success.

For the past decade, Dr. Babu has held increasingly senior administrative roles in post-secondary education. He has worked extensively with community, academic, and industry leaders, with a specific focus on organizational design, student success, and contemporary leadership styles.
