She has taught Economics at Milwaukee School of Engineering, GMI, The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse , and Ball State University. A major interest is the application of economics to explain behavioral outcomes and trends in marriage and family and in education. Dr. Lephardt is also involved Economic Education. She has been activity involved in research, teaching through the Foundation for Teaching Economics -Davis CA, and grant programs in Economic Education with Economics Wisconsin. An extension of her focus on education and the benefits of a competitive educational environment) is her involvement with the opening of Capitol West Academy a charter school in Milwaukee, WI.
Dr. Lephardt has a been involved in Economic Education for over 30 year. She has authored articles, taught and received program grants in economics education. She consults in the area of organizational efficiency and organizational behavior at General Motors, Applied Power. St. Aemilian -Lakeside Inc., The Private Industry Council of Milwaukee, and Children鈥檚 Hospital Milwaukee WI. Dr Lephardt co-authored a proposal for Capitol West Academy (a charter school) and is a Board Member, and is involved with supporting a competitive public school environment. She is currently involved in Assessment at 糖心传媒 and in Economic Education.
