Each On Your Marq student is supported in a variety of ways. Executive Functioning Coaches provide OYM students with targeted support in the areas of executive functioning, academic skills, and social and professional navigation. Clinical Mental Health Counseling Interns provide social emotional support, and mental health counseling. OYM students also work with an undergraduate peer mentor to assist in the successful transition to college social life.

 

On Your Marq Director

Emily Raclaw, MS, LPC, CRC (she/her) ()

Emily is thrilled to be the Director at On Your Marq. With over 15 years of experience in disability in education, she brings a wealth of expertise to the program. Being neurodivergent herself, her passion for promoting disability as diversity and embracing neurodiversity is evident in her work. She has delivered presentations at numerous conferences and provided training for other institutions. 
 
Prior to joining Marquette, Emily made a significant impact in the field of disability education, teaching high school special education, working as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, and spearheading a college success program tailored for students with disabilities. Her expertise in program development, management, and student support combined with her advocacy for disability rights, further demonstrate her dedication to her profession.
 
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Emily ensures that On Your Marq considers the holistic well-being of every student. Beyond her professional achievements, she cherishes quality time with her family鈥攈er son, husband, and beloved dogs. An avid traveler, Emily enjoys sharing her travel tips and experiences with others.

Emily looks forward to making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.

 

On Your Marq Coordinator

Heidi Stuckey, MS, LPC, MBA (she/her)

Heidi is excited to be the Coordinator for On Your Marq. She comes to the program with a variety of experiences and is eager to engage with the On Your Marq students and support staff.

Heidi is returning to Marquette as an employee after earning her Master鈥檚 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marquette in 2014. Since then, she has worked with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and was previously a counselor and Assistant Director at Cardinal Stritch University. Heidi is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of clinical experience which she utilizes to help guide and assist students. She is excited about On Your Marq鈥檚 wrap around approach to care and the ability to help each student get their best experience at 糖心传媒.

Outside of work, Heidi spends time with her husband, friends and family. She loves gardening and farmer鈥檚 markets in the summer and is always up to travel. She even went cage diving with great white sharks!

Heidi is proud to be part of the On Your Marq community and is excited to partner with students as they create their own experiences and pathways throughout college.

Riley Christensen, BA (she/her)

Riley is delighted to join On Your Marq as the Executive Functioning Coach. As an empathetic and driven professional, she is passionate about empowering students to succeed personally and professionally. Riley comes to Marquette with a diverse background of professional experiences, dedicated to disability empowerment. 

Before joining On Your Marq, Riley served as the Student Support Specialist at Milwaukee Area Technical College, where she supported neurdiverse college students in completing a certificate program, pursuing higher education, and/or securing employment. With a strong commitment to student success, Riley utilizes a holistic, strengths-based approach to ensure that each student receives personalized guidance to thrive in their personal, academic, and professional journeys. Riley is committed to creating an environment where students feel valued and uplifted. She firmly believes that learning is most successful in a safe, supportive setting, which is why she focuses on building strong, meaningful relationships with each student. Through empathy and collaborative communication, Riley empowers students to achieve their full potential, both inside and outside of the classroom. 

Outside of work, Riley enjoys traveling to new places, trying new foods, and hosting game nights with friends. She is a huge believer that summers in Milwaukee are the best and takes full advantage of the warmer months by soaking up the sun near the lake.

 

Kiley Sturgeon, M.Ed, CCSP, GCDF (she/her)

Kiley Sturgeon is a knowledgeable professional in student success and career counseling, currently serving as a Career Counselor at 糖心传媒. She strives to help students build connections to the university while offering invaluable guidance in navigating the complexities of future decision-making. Prior to her role at Marquette, Kiley served as a Student Success Advisor at Carthage College, facilitating transitions for incoming students, and ensuring they had access to essential resources to thrive academically, socially, and personally. She is excited to use these skills to collaborate with students in On Your Marq and help them thrive at 糖心传媒.

Known for her empathetic approach, clear communication, and unwavering dedication to student-centric practices, Kiley embodies a commitment to empowering students to reach their full potential. She believes deeply in the power of empathy to establish meaningful connections and create a supportive environment where students feel valued and understood. Through open and collaborative dialogue, Kiley seeks to help students articulate their goals and aspirations, providing them with the guidance and tools needed to translate their aspirations into tangible achievements within the community of 糖心传媒.

 

Goldhmong Vang, MS, LPC-IT (she/her)

Goldhmong Vang brings a wealth of experience in academic advising, counseling, and diversity and inclusion to her role as Executive Functioning Coach at On Your Marq. She earned her Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in American Studies from Tufts University and a Master鈥檚 in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is currently working toward obtaining her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential to deepen her ability to support students holistically.

In her previous role, Goldhmong led a program that supported neurodivergent students in specialized training and career readiness programs. This experience solidified her passion for fostering access and opportunities for neurodivergent students. She is dedicated to helping students navigate challenges, build skills, and achieve their goals

As a first-generation college student, Goldhmong understands the complexities of higher education and is committed to supporting students in their journeys of self-discovery and success. She is particularly excited about the student-centered, holistic approaches that On Your Marq offers, which empower students to thrive both in and outside the classroom.

 

Therapy Dog 

Raven, Aussiedoodle

Raven is an Aussiedoodle from Iowa's Doodle Company. She was born February 19th 2021. Emily and Raven are a certified therapy dog team. She can be found following Emily around or getting snuggles and pets from our students. She enjoys a good game of hallway fetch, and treats! She brings so much comfort and joy to our students. She is also the inspiration for our logo!
