Applying for financial aid can be a painless process if you keep in mind some helpful hints and follow the instructions provided here.   1. Get organized

    To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, you will need to:

    • Gather your and your spouse's tax information from the tax year two years prior to the academic year for which you are applying for financial aid.
    • Health professions students are encouraged to supply parent data on the FAFSA in order to be considered for the Health Professions Loan (for dental students) and Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students (Dental/DPT/PA)
    • Create a  username and password. This will serve as your electronic signature on your FAFSA application.
