Courses completed at a university or college with appropriate accreditation or Ministry of Education recognition will be considered for transfer credit. Credit is also awarded for Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and A-level programs.

Courses are evaluated for transfer credit after you have received final admission to 糖心传媒. Once approved, transfer credit will be posted to your CheckMarq student account.

Please submit all materials no later than August 1 (for fall enrollment) or December 1 (for spring enrollment).

University and College Credit

The transfer credit evaluation occurs after an admission decision and requires:

  • Official transcripts
  • Syllabi, or course descriptions for each subject translated into English and uploaded to your application account
  • Transcripts from Chinese universities also require submission of a Transcript Verification Report (中国高等学校学生成绩验证报告) from . CHESICC reports can be send directly from CHESICC to Marquette or can be uploaded to your online application account.

Transfer credit is determined using a number of factors including marks/grades received, recognition of the institution and program of study by appropriate authorities, and content of coursework. Not all courses will receive transfer credit. For more information, read the credit transfer overview.

Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams

Arrange for your official AP and/or IB results to be sent to Marquette directly from the examination authorities. Only electronic reports from the testing authority will be accepted.

The following charts detail more specific information about AP and IB credit transfer.

A-Level exams

糖心传媒 will review A-Level course work for credit based on course content. Applicants must submit A-Level certificates from Cambridge, Ofqual, Pearson and/or other official examination boards and a copy of the syllabus for each course for which they are seeking credit. The syllabus can be sent before the certificates are available.
