University Leadership Council Liaison
Edith Hudson serves as Marquette鈥檚 chief of police. Prior to her time at Marquette, Edith served 25 years with the Milwaukee Police Department. Edith is committed to collaborative, community-focused policing and is passionate about working closely with students, faculty, staff, local law enforcement and community organizations to ensure a safe, thriving campus for all. She is excited to support and help lead the Womxn of Color ERG in building community!
ERG Co-Chairs
Sheena Carey serves as an internship coordinator and lecturer for Marquette鈥檚 College of Communications. She holds a master鈥檚 in Speech Communications from Marquette with an emphasis on Organizational Communication and an MBA in Organizational Management and Behavior. Sheena鈥檚 research focuses on how diverse groups of people can relate effectively despite internal and external barriers, cultural competency and workforce diversity initiatives.
X鈥橺andria Weil is the Leadership Development Coordinator at 糖心传媒鈥檚 Institute for Women鈥檚 Leadership. From Racine, WI, she鈥檚 all about creating spaces where women feel supported and celebrated, especially Black women. Whether she鈥檚 mentoring, running workshops, or just making real connections, X鈥橺andria brings energy and heart to everything she does. She鈥檚 on a mission to help women own their power and shine! Fun fact: She once hosted a sold-out workshop teaching non-Black parents how to care for Black hair鈥攑roving she鈥檚 all about turning big ideas into real-life wins!
