- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Demonstrate a sustained commitment to the study of Spanish language, literature, and cultures, as well as to community service.
- Have already taken SPAN 2005, 3001, or 3005 or intend to take one of these courses during the funding period.
- Be in good academic standing (2.000 cumulative G.P.A or higher).
Priority will be given to students majoring or minoring in Spanish. Students who are not Spanish majors or minors must take the Spanish and place into SPAN 2005, SPAN 3001/3005, or higher.
Special consideration will be given to students who demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA.
A student's ability to receive this stipend depends on their own financial aid eligibility. A student's eligibility is determined solely by the Office of Student Financial Aid at Marquette. The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures cannot determine a student麓s eligibility and cannot award any aid beyond what a student is eligible for.
